Our Impact

Shaping Young Men Through Music

Established in 1946, the Atlanta Boy Choir has spent eight decades training young men through rigorous choral performance and cultural engagement. The Choir has performed in 26 countries, produced thousands of accomplished alumni worldwide, and earned a Grammy Award for its recording of Britten's War Requiem with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

The 2026 Southeastern Heritage Tour features historically and culturally significant sites in America. By visiting historic landmarks, the Atlanta Boy Choir endeavors to connect history to the lives of our choristers. For an organization rooted in Atlanta and built on shaping young men, these are not abstract landmarks. They are places within driving distance of the choristers' own city, connected to a movement that shaped the country they are growing up in.

Two Brothers. One Choir.

The Seta brothers grew up in the Atlanta Boy Choir; read their stories below.

"The best thing about being in the Atlanta Boy Choir is the friendships we have made."

I grew up singing in the Atlanta Boy Choir, and now my brother and I sing with the Alumni Men’s Choir. Some of my greatest memories include singing at the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Georgia Capitol, where I got to meet the governor, and the tour to Savannah, where we sang at a church in historic Johnson Square and went on a boat to see a lighthouse at Tybee Island. As I got older, I enjoyed working with the younger boys during rehearsals and concerts. We have a lot of fun, and I look forward to singing with this group of guys for many years to come.

"Music brings me tremendous joy, and I am grateful to the Atlanta Boy Choir for inspiring this love."

I was two years old when I went on my first tour to Italy with the Atlanta Boy Choir. My older brother sang in the choir and my dad accompanied the group as an interpreter and chaperone, so my mom and my twin brother and I came along. When we were a little older, my brother and I joined the choir, and we grew to enjoy and appreciate beautiful music. I have learned to play several musical instruments, and I plan to major in music in college. I am also grateful for the friends I have made in the Choir, who inspire me to continue learning and growing and who will always be part of my musical family.
