80 Years of Voices.
One Enduring Mission.
For 80 years, this choir has done one thing above all others: take boys who walk in as students and send them out as artists, leaders, and men of character. That work has never stopped.

Who We Are
The Story Behind the Choir
For eight decades, the Atlanta Boy Choir has been one of the South's most respected youth arts institutions. Founded in 1946 and formally incorporated in 1959, the Choir has grown from a local ensemble into a Grammy Award–winning organization with a global reach.
We've performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House, the Vatican, and on stages across 25 countries, representing Atlanta and the transformative power of music wherever we go.
But the true measure of the Atlanta Boy Choir is not the stages we've stood on. It's the more than 5,000 alumni who carry what they learned here into their lives, their communities, and their careers. Men who grew up on this stage and still come back. That's what 80 years looks like.

Why We Exist
Our Mission
The Atlanta Boy Choir exists to develop the whole boy, through rigorous musical training, mentorship, and community, into an artist, a leader, and a person of character.
We believe that musical excellence and personal development are inseparable. Boys who study here don't just learn to sing, they learn discipline, presence, responsibility, and resilience. They perform under pressure. They support each other. They grow.
What We Stand For
Our Values
These aren't aspirations. They're what you'll find in every rehearsal, every performance, and every boy who walks through our doors.

Our Team
The People Leading the Choir

Bryan Priddy
Artistic Director
S. Bryan Priddy joins the Atlanta Boy Choir as Artistic Director with more than 40 years of experience training young singers at every level, with a special emphasis on the male adolescent voice. He previously served as Artistic Director of the internationally regarded Texas Boys Choir and as Principal Conductor at St. Michael's Choir School in Toronto, one of North America's foremost training grounds for young vocalists.
Under his leadership, choirs have been invited to perform at three National ACDA conferences, toured internationally across South America and Europe, and collaborated with Grammy and Academy Award-winning artists. A Georgia State University alumnus with advanced degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Priddy has deep roots in the state through previous appointments at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Dunwoody High School, and King Spring Baptist Church.
He returns home to Georgia to lead the Choir into a new era defined by artistic rigor, global engagement, and a commitment to the transformative power of choral music.

Leon Baker
Associate Conductor
Leon Baker joined the Atlanta Boy Choir in 2026 as Associate Conductor, supporting Artistic Director Bryan Priddy with the Training and Concert Choirs. A dynamic choral leader and music educator, Leon has built and led programs across Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, including a 400-student music department in Nashville and programming for more than 500 students in North Carolina. While teaching at KIPP Soul Academy in Atlanta, he helped four students earn full scholarships to the Atlanta Boy Choir.
Leon holds a Master of Education from Tennessee State University and is pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Walden University.

Sheridan Ameer
Interim Managing Director
Sheridan Ameer serves as Interim Managing Director of the Atlanta Boy Choir, stepping into the role in March 2026. Previously, she served the Choir as a Board of Trustees and Executive Committee member, contributing her time as Secretary, and later as Treasurer. She has played a key role in guiding the Choir through a period of growth in areas including financial stewardship, organization management, and organizational brand management and strategic development initiatives.
Sheridan brings an extensive and distinguished career in New York City government, shaped by public-sector executive leadership roles within one of the largest and most complex municipal systems in the United States. Her experience at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Contract Services and the New York Police Department reflects deep expertise in public-sector operations, financial stewardship, and large-scale procurement and governance.
A graduate of Syracuse University, she holds Master’s degrees in both Public Administration and in International Relations. Her foundation in public service, complemented by her work with the United Nations, brings a global perspective and disciplined leadership approach to the Choir’s ongoing development.
As the proud parent of a current Atlanta Boy Choir chorister, Sheridan combines executive expertise with her deep personal commitment to the Choir’s mission and community.
